I have a podcast show called, well you guessed it, "The Old Hippie Show" on Podarama.com (click here to subscribe to the RSS Feed or paste this URL:

http://www.podarama.com/podcasts/ol_hippie/rss.xml

into iTunes) ((because I'm banned there because I sometimes play boots or outtakes or the kind of music that the corporates want to suppress and this is one way of using Apple's ever popular interface.)) (((I say screw 'em and let's party.))) (((((parenthetical fun (;-{)} )))))

Or you can listen on streaming Internet Radio, too. Or listen here. I don't care how you listen to my show. If you do, I love you and am proposing marriage.

I have another place where I sometimes like to hide out for a while:

Visit The Ol' Hippie's Happening

Anyway, doing this is the bees knees. I play what I want and I don't take no poop from anyone. Not animals either (you hear that, Cal?) I just do what I do and have a peaceful good time. Fact is, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on!

Please send me comments. Be my friend. Are you seeing anyone? Here, try some of this...

The Ol' Hippie's Programs

054: Rolling Along I-95
The Ol' Hippie drives north from West Palm Beach then Bradenton then Port St. John then straight, clean and green. Joining him are Doc Blues with George Porter, Jr., Bob Westcott, Smithereens, Squeeze, Poco and The Little Rascals.

053: Summer Camp
The Ol' Hippie visits camp with Allen Sherman, Doc Blues and Popa Chubby and The Lone Sharks, While there, he has a Falstaff Ale.

052: Back From Sticky Florida
It was damp, dank, rainy and very very hot but I had to tend to my ailing, aging mother. But hey, now I'm back (at least for a few weeks) and ready to kick out the jams. Care to join me?

051: Hey Babe, Wanna Boogie?
Time to get down! Time to get funky! We gonna dance...some waltzing, some ass-shaking and, naturally, a few surprises...What I listened to...Esperanza (Remember that name!)...Waltzing...and Boogie!

050: Thinkin' 'bout Movin' On
"Well, I got that old travelin' bone. The way I feel leave me alone. Well, I'm gone, gone...." anyway I'm thinkin' about it while I listen to some old stuff, some new stuff and all cool stuff.

049: Listen to The Man
It's time to groove into Spring. And the Ol' Hippie is grooving on some rare and unique tracks by a certain Irish Man. Also, the summer sked at The Brookhaven Amphitheater and The Boulton Center.

048: Badger Badger
For Gen: Badger Badger Badger Badger Mushrooms Ooooooo Snakes! And a very very rare Blue Collar and a rare Bruce and also Delbert, Butter, The Dead, Naked Ladies, Mud and I just cannot sleep!

047: Mister In-Between
Don't mess with me! I'm too busy rockin' out since we hoked into the new server host and Podarama is back up to speed. I'm all over the place on this one (which goes out to my podcast bitch, Doreen from Victoria's Secret, Saskachwan.)

046: Love is in the Air...Somewhere!
Valentine's Day is coming up...for everyone but me. So it goes but I got some un-love songs for you and a little karaoke, too.

045: Something's Gonna Happen!
Yup, and in 2008, too. The Ol' Hippie can feel it in his bone. How can it not after this super upbeat show filed with rare surprises.

044: I Love Christmas...NOT!
The Ol' Hippie is spreading good cheer and germs to all...and to all a good night with rarities, boots and other seasonal ditties.

043: Circling Uranus
The Ol' Hippie is way out there...way, way out there but you never know who he meets out there, too, with a soundtrack by David Winkler, Sweet Pea, Don and David, Bobby, Neil, John and some Pythons..

042: Tommy James Talks
The Ol' Hippie has a nice chat with Tommy James...or Tony Jones of The Spondelles...er, I mean The Shondelles. Also Kerry Kearney, Jack's Waterfall and a desperate plea for help.

041: I Heart L.I.ve Music
Music everywhere and "awesome" is the key word here (I only say it about a million times!). From the shadow of the Atom Smasher to the Great South Bay (Bradstock) to the Long Island Sound, it's music, music, music. Thanks to Doc Blues, Jim Faith, the Long Island Blues Society, Bradstock, and KerryKearney.com
